Our volunteers:

Here are a few of our talented hardworking volunteers. More to come.

On Monday, January 21, students and staff from the University of Iowa celebrated Martin Luther King Day by volunteering.  Uptown Bill’s hosted an amazing group.  They cleaned, organized, and helped clear out the place in record speed.  Thanks to Jerien, Max,Amber,Bernardo, Sarah, Carolina, and Michelle.

Alpha Phi Omega is a national co-educational service fraternity.  Uptown Bill’s has the pleasure of welcoming members of APO twice a month.  They perform a variety of jobs ranging from organizing books in the bookstore to cleaning and drawing images on the window.  Here they are on February 23.

And earlier in February APO volunteers worked alongside volunteers from the Unitarian Universalist Society.  They completely reorganized, added to the collection of children’s books and did some major mopping.
